I have been with this veterinary practice for around eight years, but I was extremely disappointed by my recent experience. My dog had been attacked by another dog and suffered a brain injury. I had already paid around £500 for his treatment. As I was returning to the practice to collect his medication, I asked whether someone could simply have a quick look at his eyes to see whether his pupils were still enlarged following the injury. I wasn’t asking for a full consultation — I was concerned about whether his pupils were still swollen and hoped that, as I was already coming in to collect his medication, someone might be able to take a very quick look. I was told no and that I would have to make another appointment at a cost of around £60. After being a customer for eight years, and given the circumstances and the fact that my dog had recently suffered a brain injury, I found the response very disappointing and lacking in compassion. I completely understand that veterinary practices have to charge for professional consultations, but I would have hoped that some discretion or basic reassurance could have been offered in this situation. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously changed the way I feel about a practice I have trusted with my pets for many years.

Very professional, my partner was admitted (for her pet... I'm not dating an animal!) Despite being unfortunately late, the team were very polite and friendly, despite there being an animal just having been put down in an adjacent room. The sombre atmosphere felt supportive rather then oppressive, and the help was quick for our frightened pet. Thank you for being such an excellent source of care

My Bulgarian Rescue was booked in for his first health check, however, due to his fear and stress, this turned into an acclimatisation visit. Stayed an hour being fed delicious treats by the wonderful Hannah!... slowly he decompressed. We will repeat the exercise very soon. So appreciated your kindness, Luca and Hannah
