Beaumont Veterinary Centre provides routine and surgical care for a range of pets (dogs, cats and small animals including guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets and hamsters). The clinic website lists procedures including keyhole surgery, soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgery, ultrasound, dental examinations, neutering and nurse clinics; emergency care is mentioned but without specifics.
From the latest reviews, owners most often describe calm handling and clear explanations during appointments, with several concrete examples: same-day help for a limping dog with medication, dental surgery followed by strong post-operative support, and abscess treatment for a guinea pig. Reviews also include a serious complaint about inconsistent clinical advice between vets and unexpectedly higher charges (including blood tests), plus concerns about sedation dosage and delays transferring records.

We visited Beaumont Veterinary Centre with our two cats, James and Vesper, and the experience was genuinely outstanding. Before coming, we had read a few negative reviews and honestly felt a bit uncertain. After our visit, I can say very clearly that those reviews must be written by people with unrealistic expectations. Our experience could not have been more different. From start to finish, everything was professional, calm, and reassuring. A special thank you to the female veterinarian who took care of James and Vesper. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She handled both cats with real care, explained everything clearly, and took the time to make sure we felt comfortable and informed. You could tell immediately that she genuinely loves animals and takes her work seriously. The clinic itself was clean, well organised, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was calm, which made a big difference for our cats. James and Vesper were treated gently and respectfully throughout the visit. We are very grateful for the level of care we received and will absolutely be returning in the future. If you are reading mixed reviews and feeling unsure, trust us and go see for yourself. This is a fantastic veterinary centre with compassionate professionals who truly care about your pets. Highly recommended.

Ww have been registered with beaumont for nearly 4 years. Despite the loss of a number of long term staff including vets, nurses and reception staff we have remained registered due to the complexity of our 6 cats! Thank you to Sarah (new veterinary nurse). Our 19 year old cat attends monthly for a pain injection. Mandy and recently Sarah are outstanding vet nurses. There has been a lot of fluctuation in terms of staffing but we stayed to give it a chance. Im glad we have. I appreciate prices are ridiculously high but this is the not the fault of beaumont and 99 percent of practices are not in control of pricing. I also want to thank Micheal who has treated our cats with such care. Finally I want to thank Mal the practice Director for his ongoing management of our complex account and ensuring timely insurance claims are processed and we know where we stand. Also had a few reimbursements where our account ended up in credit. Thank you Beaumont.

Was greeted by every single part of the team I believe no one would help me But Leah I believe she was called on reception restored my faith that vets do care about the animals still and not just the money All of the staff in general were well lush The vet that seen my little girl reassured me about her as no one had seen her since rescuing her I also suffer so bad with panic attacks and I was nearly on the way to one and she just took the dog and let me sit down and was so attentive so I can’t appreciate that enough thank you guys sending love and peace to you all and the animals in your care

We were away on holiday and our Pomeranian started limping. They managed to see her the same day and provide medication for her. So we were able to enjoy the rest of our holiday. The staff are very friendly and provide a professional and caring service.

Diabolical service. We have had our animals (countless cats and 3 dogs) with the vets for over 15 years and never really had any issues. Now we are just being messed around. Each time we take the animals in, we get contradicting opinions about their care and what’s required from each vet (advised operations by one, told not necessary by another etc). We are told one cost, and they charge us £100 more FOR A BLOOD TEST because it’s “£102 for the bloods and £104 for the lab to read the results”, which they didn’t even call to tell us, I received a text with an outstanding balance. Despite incorrectly advising us, not willing to offer discount or even an apology for the situation. Told us we needed to drug our cat for bloods (who is incredibly calm anyway) which cost £40 for 2 tablets) for the bloods to clot and we had to bring him back unmedicated for a retry, so that was a complete unneeded waste of money - and pretty sure the dosage was far too high for his weight anyway as it incapacitated him for a full day to the point where he couldn’t walk and we had to monitor him to make sure he was still breathing etc. honestly have never received such poor service from the Clinic Manager, Mal. We have laid our trust in them for the wellbeing of our animals and we have been ripped off and our pets are no better for it. DO NOT RECOMMEND !!! Update: we have sought other professional opinions and have been advised that the dosage of medicine prescribed to our 3kg elderly cat was twice the dosage he should have been given and is the reason he was rendered pretty much unconscious for a full day. Further to this they appear to be withholding our records which we requested to be transferred a few weeks ago.

Fantastic professional practice. They’ve taken exceptional care of our animals. Most recently our dog had dental surgery and the post operative care has been phenomenal. Very friendly staff, great reception team - Would highly recommend!

I have had my dog with Beaumont for nearly 5 years and they do a great job looking after him. He recently went in for a small op and they were great, my dog gets quite anxious but they are really good and know how to handle him. The vets and staff are very knowledgeable and are always happy to help.
